Listening Ear is a Merseyside Social Enterprise providing counselling and therapeutic interventions for children, young people and adults. We are seeking to appoint self employed Children and Young People’s Counsellor/Activity-based Therapists with a minimum of 100 CYP hours and experience in delivering group and 1:1 therapy. You must be able to travel to appointments across Merseyside.
Hours will need to be flexible to meet service delivery needs and will be to 31 March 2017 initially on a self-employed basis at £25 per 1:1 session or £75 per group session.
You must be qualified to Diploma Standard and have experience of delivering therapy to children and young people. You must have public indemnity insurance, a current enhanced DBS certificate and you will be responsible for arranging your own clinical supervision.

Listening Ear welcomes new volunteers and is very grateful for the time, commitment and talents of its current volunteers. We currently have 27 volunteers who last month provided an incredible 130 hours of support to members of the community.All volunteers are subject to a thorough application and interview process followed by enhanced DBS checks. We interview for the following volunteer positions on a regular basis. All volunteers are required to attend annual mandatory safeguarding, child protection training and a whole team development day.
