SHINE Komaru Bushcraft Day – Saturday 7 December 2019

Arrival time

10.30am

Course starts promptly

11am

A day of bushcraft skills for parents, carers and children who have attended Listening Ear’s Butterflies, Titanium or DiAmond services.

Join us for the day to learn how to build a waterproof shelter in the woods, light fires without matches and cook bread on a campfire.

We show you the rules of survival, how to track animals and even navigate your way back to civilization.

Before leaving, join us around the campfire for our Woodland Emotional Youth Club lantern parade, followed by hot chocolate and marshmallows toasted on the campfire.

This event is suitable for children aged 4 and above and children must be accompanied by an adult.

We’ll provide a packed lunch (or maybe a pizza!) so you will need to let us know if you or your child(ren) have any allergies or intolerances.

Please note: we can only accept bookings if your child(ren) have attended or are currently attending Listening Ear’s Butterflies, Titanium, DiAmond or Emotional Youth Club services.
