Listening Ear has arranged a number of further, free briefing sessions to explain the role of, and referral routes for, the South Yorks Covid Bereavement Helpline service which is operated on behalf of local authorities and the NHS in South Yorkshire.
The 30 minute sessions, delivered via Zoom by Listening Ear’s CEO Richard Brown, have already drawn high attendance from across South Yorks when they were run in June, July and August, and have been popular with staff working in organisations ranging from the police, the NHS, social care and the voluntary and community sectors. “The Zoom sessions allow us to reach more people at a time when it’s not possible to attend staff meetings due to Covid-19. We’re encouraging as many people to attend as possible,” Richard said. There are a maximum of 16 places on each session, and you only need to attend one session.
Future briefing sessions
The current round of sessions has completed. Please check back here for new dates.
Joining instructions will be sent via Eventbrite, and attendees will also receive a reminder and a follow-up link to a brief survey which we hope they will complete, as this helps us refine the Zoom sessions for future users.
This page is updated with additional session dates as they become available.
