20th Anniversary Awards shortlist announced
Listening Ear are delighted to announce they have been shortlisted in the Steve Morgan Foundation 20th Anniversary Awards.
As the founding funder of Listening Ear’s children’s counselling service in 2004, Listening Ear has been fortunate to have been supported by the Steve Morgan Foundation over many years. With their generous donations, Listening Ear has been able to provide counselling and support services to more people dealing with bereavement, loss and domestic abuse.
Post Covid, Listening Ear has experienced a surge in demand for support, especially from children and young people, those aged 60+ and those affected by suicide.
We are thrilled that we have been recognised and shortlisted in two categories:
- Charity or Social Enterprise making Greatest Local Impact – Above £250,000
- Charity or Social Enterprise Changing Young Lives – Above £250,000
Richard Brown, CEO of Listening Ear:
“Amazing news to have reached the shortlist in not one but two categories. We are in great company, rubbing shoulders with other incredible charities and organisations who like us, support many people and communities in times of need.
To get this far recognises and underlines the importance of our work, the people we support and our incredible team. Massive thanks to Steve Morgan Foundation for the shortlist and the recognition.
Please can you spare a few minutes to vote for us, it would mean so much to everyone involved in Listening Ear.”
