Certificate In Working Therapeutically With Children And Young People Ages 4 to 18 Years, Presenting With Bereavement, Domestic Abuse And Loss

Applications are now open for our bridging course, developed for qualified adult counsellors wishing to gain relevant training and experience within a BACP accredited service. The course develops competency in counselling children and young people presenting with bereavement and loss aged 4 to 18 years using a therapeutic approach.

Successful applicants will undertake 35 guided learning hours, delivered over an intensive six-day course, followed by 100 placement hours with Listening Ear, in schools, colleges, community locations and it Listening Ear venues.

Students must have previously achieved a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4) on an adult counselling focused course, and must be able to attend all placement dates.
