Location: Halewood/Knowsley/Prescott/Liverpool

Salary: £27,345 – £29,439

Available Roles:

  • Children and Young People Counsellor
  • Adult Counsellor
  • Aftercare Counsellor

We are offering both full-time and part-time positions with a competitive salary. For all roles, you will require, as a minimum:

  • Diploma in Counselling
  • Hold the BACP Certificate of Proficiency
  • Be on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
  • Have a minimum of 100 supervised client hours

 

We will also seek for you to demonstrate

  • BACP Accreditation within 2 years of being eligible to apply
  • Evidence of continuing CPD and an excellent knowledge of safeguarding
  • Experience of conducting initial assessments (including multi-agency and family assessments)

 

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking counsellors who can offer complete flexibility, as some evening and weekend work may be required. You may also be involved in group therapy and aftercare support. You’ll be part of a supportive, professional environment dedicated to making a real difference in people’s lives. We therefore need you to have an inclusive, calm and non-judgemental approach, great IT and administration skills and the ability to focus on positive client outcomes in a busy and demanding job role.
