An Introduction to Amparo

Listening Ear’s Amparo service – providing support to those who have been affected by suicide – continues to host regular drop-in sessions via Zoom to explain how the service works.

They offer a chance to meet Sammy Ashley, Amparo’s Team Leader, and members of her team who work in localities.  The informal, 50 minute sessions cover how to easily access Amparo as well as the kind of help and support its staff can provide.  There is plenty of opportunity for questions, if you have any.

The sessions are aimed at professionals who work with people who may need to be referred for Amparo’s support in Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, South Yorkshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.

The following dates are currently available in 2021:

Thursday 8th April – 1.30pm

Tuesday 13th April – 3pm

Tuesday 20th April – 1.30pm

Thursday 29th April – 5pm
