Staff from Experian’s Southport and Nottingham offices came together this week to volunteer to decorate Listening Ear’s therapy centres at Whiston and Halewood for Christmas.

Over the course of a day, the teams helped make lanterns for our forthcoming SHINE event at the weekend and decorated trees for our reception areas and the group room at 174 Dragon Lane.

Staff at Experian are encouraged and supported by the company to volunteer with local charities, and approached Listening Ear earlier in the year to offer their help.

Listening Ear’s Deputy CEO Jayne Hobin-Wright said: “We’re so grateful for the time and energy the Experian teams brought to the task – they’ve transformed our reception and group rooms, which will bring smiles to the faces of the children and young people who use our centres.”

Meanwhile, we’re inducting our latest member of staff, Eric, who Experian have seconded to us for the Christmas period as our new Elf and Safety Officer.  Eric can’t wait to meet everyone!
