Working Therapeutically With Children and Young People Aged 4 to 18 Years Presenting With Bereavement, Domestic Abuse and Loss
Are you a qualified adult counsellor, looking for experience in counselling children and young people? Train for free within a BACP-accredited service.
This bespoke six-day course is for qualified adult counsellors wishing to gain relevant training in counselling children and young people presenting with bereavement, domestic abuse and loss, using a therapeutic approach. The course is aligned to the BACP curriculum for counselling CYP aged 4 to 18 years.
Eligibility
We’re looking for qualified Adult Counsellors, who have achieved a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) on an adult counselling focused course.
Applicants who have a background in mental health or psychology who are qualified to level 4 or above are also invited to apply. We will consider applications from current counselling students who are working towards their 100 hours of supervised, clinical, placement hours with adults. You will have completed your course of study. Applicants must have access to their own transport and be able to travel across Merseyside to complete their 100 hour placement as you will be working in Merseyside schools and our Halewood office.
