Listening Ear has taken another important step towards the launch of its DiAmond Domestic Abuse Counselling Service in Warwickshire, with professionals from across the county joining an online mobilisation webinar on Wednesday 22 July 2026.

The session, led by Sammy Ashley, Contracts Director at Listening Ear, introduced the new service ahead of its official launch on 1 September 2026. During the webinar, Sammy was joined by members of Listening Ear’s Clinical and Safeguarding Team to provide an overview of the service, explain who can make referrals, outline the referral pathways, and answer questions from professionals working across health, social care and the voluntary sector.

The webinar forms part of Listening Ear’s mobilisation programme, ensuring partner organisations have the information and confidence they need to refer people into the new service from day one.

Speaking after the event, Sammy Ashley said:

“We are so pleased to be back in Warwickshire, supporting people and communities through our Domestic Abuse service. People can now be referred through a number of different pathways, including their local GP. We are here to help and look forward to working alongside agencies across the county to ensure those affected by domestic abuse can access the support they need.”

The DiAmond service provides specialist counselling and therapeutic support for people affected by domestic abuse, working closely with partner organisations to ensure timely access to safe, effective and compassionate support.

For those who were unable to attend, a recording of the webinar, together with a short Questions and Answers session, is available in the video below.
